All Spanish Pod lessons have three sections:
Introduction – A brief description of what is the lesson about, vocabulary, social situations, etc.
Lesson Materials – This includes the line-by-line audio of the phrases used in English and Spanish, the list of the vocabulary words and it´s pronunciation, recorded in two different speeds, and the grammar points introduced in the lesson.
Review – A comprehensive quiz to test your Spanish knowledge, either by multiple choice or by writing, plus a helpful set of vocabulary flashcards to work with.
All Spanish lessons, regardless of the level, have a downloadable and printable PDF file with the notes, transcript, basic lesson and premium lesson checklist. Depending on your needs and preferences, you can also “like” and save lessons to view or replay later.
The Spanish Pod101 lessons are around 10 to 12 minutes long and they all follow the same routine. They start with a description and a short explanation, followed by the audio. The first audio plays at normal speed and the second one at a slower speed, so that the student can understand all the phrases.
Once the dialogue has finished playing, there is a brief explanation about the social life, events and customs of one of the several Spanish-speaking countries.
There is a a downloadable MP3 of the audio, review and dialogue of each lesson, and they even include a video of the Spanish lesson for those who learn better through visual stimuli, like I do. The ability to chose from different media is one of the things I enjoy the most about Spanishpod101!
